Alchemical Works is a multi-award-winning German video game studio. Driven by a small but skilled and effective team sharing years of collaboration, we bring steadfast dedication to all our projects.
ALAIN BRUNOTTE
Founder & CEO
Having graduated from university with a diploma in Media Dramaturgy (film and games), Alain has been turning his ideas into reality as an entrepreneur for over 10 years. He worked on music videos, corporate films and video games. After building a start-up in the field of education into a company employing 30 people, he started to work on BattleJuice Alchemist in 2018. Alain formally founded Alchemical Works in 2021 and later that year expanded it into the team introduced here.
FELIX TISCH
Art Director & Concept Artist
Felix graduated university with a diploma in arts and design in Germany. He honed his skills under Feng Zhu at FZD in Singapore, where he later taught students in concept art. He currently does freelance work on Warhammer 40k and supervises multiple indie games in art direction.
MARKUS NOCON
Game Designer, Programmer
Markus, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, has 10 years of experience in making his own games from start to finish.
PATRICK HALLER
Art Director & 2D/3D Artist
Patrick, illustrator and graphic designer by trade, oozes creative power. He has a passion for quirky illustrations and line art. Patrick is meticulous in his execution and a Swiss Army knife that you can point at almost every design challenge you might encounter.
JAN RISCH
Quality Assurance
Jan loves game design and cracking complex systems. He has been playtesting BattleJuice Alchemist since the earliest builds, works on analytical and game design tasks and also helps with storytelling.
DOMINIK JAHN
Music Producer
Dominik is a university-trained pianist who also studied at the first institution of higher education in Germany to offer academic degree programs focusing on popular music and music business. He loves elaborate electronic textures, which he explores in his own music and when working with clients in his own studio.
